The Chesa Pool was built in 1585 by order of Baptista von Salis, a nobleman known far beyond Engadine. The choice of location must have been easy for the builder, as this light and expanse had already fascinated the most discerning people from all walks of life. Many generations, families and nature lovers have bonded with the Chesa Pool. The charm that has left its mark through the history of the house can still be felt. The Chesa Pool was used as a farmhouse until 1973 and then converted into a guesthouse. Another conversion followed at the end of 1998. Since then the Chesa Pool has displayed itself in its comfortable and yet original trappings. The Chesa Pool is ever ready to enrich its history with the experience of its guests. You can be part of this history.
